Jolene DiSalvo

Vice President of Marketing

 

Jolene brings more than 20 years of hospitality marketing experience to the Columbia Hospitality team. She has applied her skills for some of the best-known luxury brands in the industry including W Hotels Worldwide, St. Regis Hotels and Resorts, and The Luxury Collection--all part of Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Jolene was instrumental in the launch of W Hotels, starting with the fourth W Hotel in Seattle, and expanding her role to direct all strategic planning, brand positioning, global marketing, and public relations for W Hotels Worldwide. She has focused on maximizing the revenue opportunities of every aspect of the hospitality business.

As Vice President of Marketing, Jolene applies a multi-dimensional approach to marketing Columbia Hospitality properties, including: brand positioning, media planning, public relations, online marketing and distribution, and customer relationship/experience management. Jolene is an expert at achieving specific marketing objectives while maintaining a “big picture” viewpoint.

Jolene has been recognized for her innovative marketing leadership, earning the 2007 Internet Advertising Competition and the 2006 Interactive Media Award for her work on the “W The Card” loyalty program. In addition, she won the 2008 Customer Loyalty Engagement Award in the luxury hotel category for her branding work. She has also served as the President and on the Board of Directors for the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).

Jolene earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Public Relations from Washington State University.
