Executive Chef
Chef Jay Bartleson serves as the executive chef for Bell Harbor International Conference Center and its sister property, World Trade Center Seattle. Bell Harbor and World Trade Center Seattle are at the national forefront of meetings and events venues. “I enjoy carrying on Bell Harbor and World Trade Center Seattle’s proud tradition of serving regionally inspired cuisine,” states Bartleson.
“We are pleased to have found such a talented chef,” says Greg Werry, general manager of Bell Harbor and World Trade Center Seattle. “Jay is a real leader who will inspire our culinary staff to build on our strong reputation for serving our guests the finest, freshest food of all meeting venues in the city.”
Bartleson earned a degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management from North Seattle Community College, where he won the President’s Award and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society.
Bartleson previously worked for Compass Group USA, serving as executive chef at RealNetworks, Honeywell and Federal Reserve Bank Seattle. He also has worked as executive chef at Kirkland’s Juanita Bay Pub and as retail operations manager for Sodexo Marriott at Microsoft’s Redmond campus. While Bartleson was at Juanita Bay, the pub won the Eastside Journal’s Best Bar Food award.
