Terri FinchamVice President of Training and DevelopmentTerri Fincham's twenty years of experience in organizational development and training made her the perfect addition to the Columbia Hospitality corporate team in 2004. Terri's charisma and energy permeate the room when she conducts training courses, and it is that enthusiasm that has placed her classes in high demand for employees company-wide. As the vice president of training and development, Terri leads the training programs for all properties and corporate activities. She and her team developed Columbia Hospitality Academy, an extensive training curriculum tailored to Columbia's values, mission and service level standards. This multi-level training initiative includes courses for uniformed line service professionals, management trainees, management, and executive leadership. Classes such as Hospitality at CHI, Creating Customer Loyalty, and Setting SMART Goals, are just a few of the courses that are offered to employees on a regular basis. Prior to her role with Columbia, Terri was the principal of Full Circle Consulting. As the founder of Full Circle, she managed independent training and performance development programs for Fortune 500 corporations including Microsoft, Washington Mutual, General Electric Company, Adobe Systems, and Premera Blue Cross. Previous career experience includes roles such as training and development manager for Concur Technologies, vice president and senior training officer for Seafirst Investment Services, and sales management consultant for GE Financial Assurance. In each position, Terri expanded upon her expertise in building training and development and performance enhancement plans for line staff and executives alike. She is an active member of both the National American Society for Training and Development and the National Organizational Development Network. Terri earned a bachelor of arts in Theatre Arts from Western Washington University. |
