Jeff Sprague

Corporate Controller

Jeff Sprague’s 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry provides a solid foundation of accounting procedures and financial controls. In addition, Jeff has distinctive skills in team building, people management and problem solving, which have earned him a reputation as an analytical thinker and leader.

Jeff works closely with the Columbia Hospitality leadership team to develop financial tools that support the Columbia portfolio and consulting services. With the accounting team, he strives to find ways to improve value and enhance experiences for employees, owners, and guests.

Jeff joined Columbia Hospitality in 2007. Previously he was the Controller for Salish Lodge & Spa, a premier northwest resort at Snoqualmie Falls, for nearly eight years. Prior to returning to the northwest where he was born and raised, Jeff spent a combined ten years working with Four Seasons Hotels and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in various financial management positions around the country, including Texas, Utah, California, and Florida.

When Jeff is not creating new Excel spreadsheets for the enjoyment of owners and asset managers, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. When they aren’t paying attention, he sneaks in a round or two of golf, completes one of many home improvement projects, or takes off flying around the Puget Sound with his private pilot’s license.

Jeff earned a bachelor of science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
